An “encore presentation” of the Bakersfield Business Conference is scheduled for October 2010. Both the Bakersfield Californian newspaper and the KGET Channel 17 News Team interviewed conference organizer, George F. Martin, to break the story of the event’s rebirth in 2010.

Brandon Martin of Martin Media Strategies will be working with journalists and new media enthusiasts to help keep the local, state, national, and international community of conference attendees and volunteers informed about the 2010 event as it is being planned and coordinated.

The local media has done a commendable job of reintroducing the conference. Many more details will become available as the Conference website goes online on September 27th. Additional updates are available to everyone — with or without a press badge — through the Bakersfield Business Conference Email Update Service. Sign up here to learn more about ticketing information, scholarship opportunities, community contests… and more.
